How many items can I check out and how long can I keep them?
Answer
The number of books you can check out from Briggs Library depends on your role at the university.
Undergraduate students: 50 items
Graduate students: 100 items
Staff members: 200 items
Faculty members: 400 items
Guest borrowers: 20 items
Any South Dakota resident may borrow materials from Briggs Library. You must provide a valid photo ID and proof of South Dakota residency when you request an account. You may then use any photo ID to check materials out.
How long you can keep an item also depends on your role at the university and the type of item it is.
